My education in food began in the kitchen of my family’s Italian restaurant in New York City. Surrounded by exceptional ingredients and centuries of tradition, I learned early on that food is a language of love. While my culinary roots are Italian, my curiosity has always been global. As a teenager, I looked beyond the family recipes, studying the techniques of icons like Jacques Pepin, Alice Waters. In later years, I looked to Gabrielle Hamilton & Anne Burrell to widen my palate.
The true turning point in my life came at age twenty-two when I watched the Oscar-winning Danish film Babette’s Feast. I was struck by a quote that became my mantra:
“Throughout the world sounds one long cry from the heart of the artist: Give me the chance to do my very best.”
That film taught me that a shared meal is an enchantment. After years of honing my skills as a Sous Chef in Princeton and running my own restaurant, "Babette’s," I realized my true joy comes from the intimacy of the table.
Today, I bring that artistry directly to you. My cooking is a harmonious blend of cultures. Simple yet elegant, innovative yet timeless. Serving the Tri-State area, I specialize in exclusive, intimate at-home events. While I bring a trusted team for larger affairs, I pride myself on being the driving force behind every menu, ensuring that every plate is an invitation to gather, celebrate, and enjoy.
